I'm not seeing my carrier
Multiple carriers often share the same tower. Only the tower owner may appear on the map. If you see zero towers for your carrier in a large area, please contact us so we can investigate.
A tower I know about isn't showing up
Try performing a Power Search to check secondary databases. If it still doesn't appear, you can contribute the location through the app and we'll add it to our database.
Why am I only seeing towers in San Francisco?
This means the app doesn't have GPS permission. Go to Settings > FindTower > Location and select "While Using." The map will then center on your actual location.
Do I need internet to use FindTower?
An internet connection is needed for the initial tower search. After that, the app caches data so you can reference it offline.
